A Champion of Creative Thinking and Intuition

Dr. Wladimir Klitschko is not only the combined longest reigning heavyweight boxing champion of all time—he also applied his victor’s mentality, keen intuition, and 25 years of knowledge and experience as a professional athlete into a brilliant second act as an entrepreneur and hospitality pioneer in his native Ukraine. Having earned his PhD in 2001, Wladimir founded K2 Promotions with his brother Vitali in 2003, followed by the Klitschko Foundation in 2005, the Klitschko Management Group in 2007, and together with the University of St. Gallen, the study program CAS Change & Innovation Management and the Competence Center for Intrapreneurship. In 2012, he opened 11 Mirrors in Kiev. Ukraine’s first Design Hotels member, 11 Mirrors has held first place on TripAdvisor in the country for six consecutive years and has garnered numerous international awards, including the Boutique Hotel Award, World Travel Award, Haute Grandeur Global Hotel Award, and many more. In 2016, he founded Klitschko Ventures, dedicated to building and maintaining a comprehensive, strategic partner network.

Challenge the Status Quo

Listen to the voice of experience, then forget everything you think you know. At Arena*, Wladimir will talk about how he applied the intuitive thinking that guided him in the ring to the world of business and hospitality, challenging traditional management styles and structures in the service of a creative vision. As he outlined in his book, Challenge Management, the key is to think outside the box and actively shape life instead of being impelled by circumstances towards a decision.
