Economist, public speaker, business advisor, and writer Dr Kjell A. Nordström is widely considered a guru of the business world, having made the Thinkers 50 global ranking of most influential management minds in 2009 and currently standing at 23 on the Global Guru list of the World’s Top 30 Management Professionals for 2018.

 

In addition to spending over 25 years consulting large multinationals around the world, Kjell has served as economic advisor to the U.K. government and co-authored several internationally bestselling books, including “Karaoke Capitalism: Daring to Be Different in a Copycat World” and “Funky Business Forever: How to Enjoy Capitalism” with Jonas Ridderstråle. His latest book, Urban Express, co-written with Per Schlingmann, explores the relationship between corporations and the cities of the world with a focus on women, technology, multi-urban corporations, and “wild knowledge” acquired outside of the classroom.

 

Kjell has 25 years experience working with multinational companies and has served as an adviser and consultant to several large multinationals around the world. He holds a doctoral degree in International Business from the Stockholm School of Economics. His research and consulting focus on the areas of corporate strategy, multinational corporations and globalization. Kjell is also a keen investor, entrepreneur, and Shakespeare enthusiast.
